Seguros El Roble is the largest insurance company in Guatemala, with an overall market share of 26%. Founded in 1973 in a partnership between a local businessman and AFIA, El Roble became a 100% Guatemalan company in the 1990s and was acquired by BiCapital Corporation in 2008.

El Roble has a solid technical and commercial work team of professionals with extensive experience in insurance, the largest medical network in Guatemala, and a Financial rating of A- (AM Best).
